General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
The General Terms of Service (“Terms of Service”) contain the general terms and conditions for the use of the website operated by Urban Tours Kft. (head office: 1122 Budapest, Goldmark Károly út 32., tax number: 23099128-2-43) as a service provider (“Service Provider”). Please use our services only if you agree with all its points and consider them binding on you. This document will not be filed, it will only be concluded in electronic form (it is not considered a written contract), and it does not refer to a code of conduct.

The purpose of the General Terms and Conditions
1. GTC fixes the general conditions of the contract, in particular the rights and obligations emerging in the course of using the services of Urban Tours Kft., and the information referring to important matters for the Client.
2. Publishing, validity and accessibility of the GTC
Service Provider undertakes that the General terms and conditions of use provides information for the contracting party about the stipulations directly concerning the contracting party.
2.1 Date of publishing of the present GTC on website www.urbantours.hu is 30 th July, 2022.
2.2 The present GTC is effective for an indefinite period of time and it is valid for the contracts concluded between the company and the client after 1st August, 2022.
2.3 During its validity, the GTC is accessible in a downloadable form at www.urbantours.hu and in printed form in the central office of Urban Tours Kft. (1056 Budapest, Irányi utca 7.).
3. Conclusion of the contract
3.1 The present GTC covers every natural entity who uses the services provided by Urban Tours Kft.
by buying the ticket.
3.2 By the conclusion of the contract, the GTC is considered automatically accepted, and consequently the envisaged rights and obligations will be qualified as mandatory for both parties.
Should the client fail to consider the rules of the present GTC mandatory for him, then Urban Tours Kft. is entitled to deny use of the service and at the same time reimburse the purchase price of the bought ticket for the client. An exception from this latter cash reimbursement, if the client announces his disagreement after finishing use of the service.
4. The scope of service
4.1 Service Provider offers electric scooter tours together with a tourist guide. Consequently, the experience is of historic topic. Although the company strived to keep the possible greatest historical accuracy, certain scenes do not completely cover reality for the purpose of greater client experience. Consequently, we cannot investigate complaints related to historical accuracy.
The service can be used by anyone at his own responsibility. The electric scooters can ride 25 km/h, so it is definitely not recommended for persons with epilepsy or tending to it, and the service provider does not undertake responsibility for possible feeling unwell.
5. The conditions of using of the Service
5.1 The service may be used by any person above 140 cm – with an adult – who accepts the conditions included in the present GTC.
5.2 The condition of using the service is payment of the countervalue of the service. The service can be booked online or personally.
5.3 Persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other narcotizers, who cannot control themselves, are not allowed to use the service.
5.4 The precondition of using of the service is that the client has to place a deposit against the electric scooter received for the period of the contract in the office of Urban Tours Kft. in the following manner:
5.4.1 Any personal document (passport, identity card, driving license) of the user can be placed as a deposit, if the user of the service can confirm that it is his/her own document.
5.4.2 Cash may be deposited too, its measure determined by Urban Tours Kft. is 100 euro or equivalent HUF.
5.5 In case the client rejects placing of the deposit, Urban Tours Kft. denies provision of the service.
6. Data management rules
6.1 Urban Tours Kft. may store the personal data of the clients only during the validity of the contract – beginning and end of the tour – and they must not be transferred for third persons by no means.
6.2 The company undertakes than in case of choosing deposit placing possibilities as per point 5.4.1. the document handed over by the client will not be transferred for a third party, no copy of it will be made in any form and no data included in the document will be recorded. The documents will be completely and without damage returned to their owners.
6.3 The deposited documents will be in safe, nobody, except for the employees of Urban Tours Kft. will be allowed to access them.
6.4 In addition, every rule relevant to data management can be found in the “Regulations for data management” document of Urban Tours Kft.; it can be accessed at the website of the company and in printed form, in the office of Urban Tours Kft.
7. Compensation for damages arising during the service
7.1 The clients using the service are obliged to use the tools entrusted to them during the contracts as intended and in compliance with the instructions of the tour guide. Urban Tours Kft. is entitled to claim for the damages due to abnormal use, deliberate damage or theft against the client and may automatically compensate in cash, as follows.
7.2 In case the client placed a cash deposit for use of the service and he/she intentionally causes damage to the tools or steals them, then he has to compensate for the damage with the deposited amount. The deposited amount may be used by Urban Tours Kft. for its own purposes against the damage caused.
7.3 In case the client placed a non-financial deposit for use of the service and he/she intentionally causes damage to the tools or steals them during the validity of the contract, then he is obliged to financial compensation, debates on the damage. In case of non-payment of the compensation, Urban Tours Kft. may initiate official procedure by the competent authorities because of the criminal action.
7.3.1 In case the client placed a non-financial deposit for use of the service and he/she intentionally causes damage to the tools or steals them during the validity of the contract, and he/she does not return it to Urban Tours Kft. then the service provider is entitled to initiate official procedures because of theft.
7.4 Urban Tours Kft. cannot undertake any responsibility for non-financial damages e.g. any kind of physical injury, feeling unwell during the tour, or accident, however it will provide the required assistance, as much as possible.
8. Beginning and duration of the Service
8.1 Service provided by Urban Tours Kft. has a preliminary determined duration.
8.2 The length of the tour is minimum 2 hour and 15 minutes, but maximum 2 hour and 35 minutes. The tour begins with handing over of the electric scooters and it ends by returning them.
8.3 The tours organized by Urban Tours Kft. start in the determined times; the clients who wish to use the services can get information about them from the website of the company, in the office and by the informative materials published.
8.4 The tours organized by Urban Tours Kft. start at specified appointments. Service Provider is within its rights to change the schedule of its tours. To find the information about the latest tour schedule visit the website of the company.
8.5 It is possible to book a private tour in addition to the specified appointments, in the case of at least 10 participants or an equal amount of purchased tickets. To schedule a private tour, one must first coordinate with the staff or Urban Tours Kft. via email or telephone.
9. Validity of the tickets
9.1 Tickets purchased on the website of Urban Tours Kft. can be used for the tour on chosen time and date.
9.2 The service specified in Section 9.1 may be modified in the following cases:
9.2.1. If the program is canceled due to the fault of the service provider or bad weather conditions, and the participant is unable to find another suitable occasion to reschedule the program, the service provider shall return the deposit, paid by the customer.
9.2.2. If the customer cancels the program Urban Tours Kft. can advise another date for the tour. Customers can cancel up to 48 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund. If customers cancel less than 48 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount paid will not be refunded. Any changes made less than 48 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
10. Booking process, cancellation, modification
10.1 Participation in the tour is always subject to prior appointment. Depending on the type of ticket purchased, it is possible to book an appointment in the following ways:

10.2 The customer must notify of any change in connection with a booked tour at least 48 hours before its starting time via any of the contact details above.
10.3 If the customer does not show up at the time booked without prior notice or does not indicate the cancellation at least 48 hours in advance, the ticket is considered used, there is no possibility for further booking.
10.4 Urban Tours Kft. reserves the right to cancel or change the program in the following cases:
10.4.1 If there is heavy rain, hail, stormy wind, or temperatures below 0 degrees.
10.4.2 If at least a secondary heat alarm or storm alarm is in force.
10.4.3 If the route of the tour becomes impassable for any reason and it is not possible to create an alternative route.
10.5 If the customer cancels the program because of an unforeseen event, such as illness, accident, delay due to traffic reasons, Urban Tours Kft. will book for the client another suitable time for the program. Now booking can be made within 60 days.
11. Buying of ticket and sales
11.1 For using the service provided by Urban Tours Kft., tickets must be bought.
11.2 Buying of tickets is possible in the following ways and at the following places:
11.2.1 At the website of Urban Tours Kft. (by bank card)
11.2.2 From the retail trading partners appointed by Urban Tours Kft.
11.3 After purchasing the ticket, the client is entitled to use the services by showing the receipt/voucher. Urban Tours Kft. is not obliged to accept fake, non-identifiable tickets/receipts/vouchers and is entitled to reject provision of the service in this case.
11.4 Payment on the website
11.4.1 Shopping in the online store does not require registration. You can settle the price of the selected products by paying with a Barion system with your bank card. Bank card data does not reach us, it is managed by Barion Payment Zrt.
